Colourful Birds
This series is taken from my rather extensive collection of bird images. This one focuses on birds with more than just a hint of colour and, in most cases, quite a few colours. Some of the tiniest birds, the Pygmy Hummingbird being a case in point, demand attention be being amazingly vibrant. Others, like the starling, can appear to have very little colour until they catch the light and then it's all greens, blues and white.
So, from the obvious multicoloured punch of the European Kingfisher to the irridescence of the Sabrewing, here goes...
